Ahsan Imran is a PhD student and Research Assistant at the TrustAI Lab, [University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY, USA.(https://www.uky.edu/)] His current research focuses on developing explainable deep learning models for image and EEG data, with an emphasis on trustworthy and interpretable machine learning for biomedical and sensor-based applications. Ahsan Imran was the first MSc graduate from AVIS Lab.
Imran graduated from the University of Dhaka in Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering, supervised by Dr. Md Mehedi Hasan. His Masters thesis was based on developing deep learning models for face recognition on video dataset.
Research Interest: Explainable deep learning, EEG/MMG sensor signal processing, biomedical machine learning, and the development of machine learning models for image and physiological signal data.
